Meet the Design Team!

It's time to meet the new Design Team!  I'm so excited to be working with this team.  We got some amazing and talented ladies ready to share their love of scrapbooking with you all!  Join me in welcoming the group.

Allison Cope

Howdy!  My name is Allison Cope and I live in the tiny prairie town of Strathmore, Alberta.  My small family of three, my sweet husband of 5 years, Todd and our 7 year old son, Spencer, moved here last summer from BC so my hubby could pursue a new career path.  I have been a scrapbooker for 7 years now. I typically play with paper almost every day and thoroughly enjoy every aspect of designing and creating.

Ashley Hamm
I'm Ashley and I've been scrapbooking since I was 16. I've met some awesome people in the scrapbooking community and I'm grateful to have the opportunity to work with the LCOM group! Over the years I've been blessed to have my work published in print and online. Aside of crafting, my other hobbies are reading and jogging. My boyfriend and I adopted a black Lab, Bentley, who is about 2.5 years old and he also keeps us busy. I've been a registered nurse for five years and I'm lucky to be able to work (mostly) part time. I want to thank Isabelle for this opportunity and I can't wait to meet all of you!
Bev Code

I was new to online scrapping starting in Apr 2009. There are so many sites. My name is Bev Code and I have been scrapping about 4+ years. I am a wife, mother and gramma that loves being retired and now have time to scrap to my heart's content. My projects range from layouts, cards, altered projects, mini albums and I love to share new tips and techniques as I learn them. I live in Conestogo, Ontario and spend some time in Florida where I take my scrapping with me for the extended time. I am thrilled to be joining this fabulous site and being inspired by you also.
Cassie Wiscarson
I am a wife, a mom, and a scrapbooker.  I love not only paper crafting, but crafting in general.  I started scrapbooking back in 2005 after my husband joined the Army.  My hobby has traveled with me to Germany, Washington State and now Virginia.  I think about scrapbooking every single day, I might be slightly obsessed, but this hobby brings such joy to my life.  I love sharing my passion with others.

Gisèle Julien

Gisèle Julien taught in New Brunswick for 32 years and has been retired since June 2007.As her 1st trip after retirement, she took a scrapbooking cruise to the Caribbean. Scrapbooking has taken over her passion to create and to preserve family memories. It has been a big part of who she is since 2005 when this craft was introduce to her by a colleague. She has always been involved in crafts of some kind so this has fed her creativity.

Heather Peterson

Hi! My name is Heather and my blog is called the Hunny Pot. I started my blog in August of 2011 when I made a goal to try and get published. I have since designed for many wonderful challenge blogs, companies and businesses, and I have been published in Cricut Magazine, SNR, and ScrapStreet Magazine. I am primarily a layout designer, but I do dabble in card making, altered art and other home dec projects. I currently live in Salt Lake City, UT with my boxer/fur baby June, and enjoy cooking, reading and staying active when I'm not in my craft room.
Jocelyne Roy
My name is Jocelyne and I'm a scrapaholic... I'm also Maman to two beautiful, very intelligent daughters and wife to the love of my life and best friend. I am biology by trade but decided to put my career on hold in order stay at home with my girls.  My scrapbooking addiction started about 9 years ago when my mom introduced me to it not long after my first daughter was born. At first it was an excuse to get me out of the house and occupy my time when I was on maternity leave but it quickly turned into my sanity saver. I'm never as calm as when I'm cutting paper, stamping, and gluing pictures and pretty embellishments to layouts. I love the social aspect of it too and love all the friends I made in the scrapbooking community. But most of all, I love how my girls get to flip through the scrapbooks I made over the years and know the stories behind the pictures.
Mandi Holmes

My name is Mandi. I am in my twenties and live in Michigan with my parents, brother and a spoiled dog. I have been crafting for as long as I can remember but really got into it when I was teen. That is when my dad was getting me more into paper crafting. I am sure he didn't realize what a large stash accumulating over the years. I was thirteen when I put together my first scrapbook together and the subject was a tiny, little, fur ball, name Buster. I love to make scrapbook pages, cards and altered items. Besides crafting, I love to spend time cooking and spending time with my family.

Melissa Williams
I first started scrapbooking in 2003 to make a gift for a friend. This evolved into another gift for a family member. Eventually, I started scrapbooking for myself and never looked back! In 2005, I had my first son and my second came in 2007. Both are major topics of my scrapbook pages, although I sometimes scrap myself, my husband, and my extended family. I love to use sketches to inspire my creations and consider myself to be a "clean" scrapper (though the mess I make putting pages together is very contrary to that self-categorization). When I'm not scrapbooking, I'm playing with my kids and have have recently returned to being a Stay-At-Home Mom while I pursue a new degree in Arts and New Media. I have a love of running, reading, crochet, and many other forms of art. I look forward to another term on the Let's Capture These Sketches team!
Shirley Tait

Hi My name is Shirley Tait and I live in sunny Queensland, Australia with my wonderfully supportive hubby of nearly 20 years and my gorgeous children aged 16, 13 & 11 years.  I started card making and scrapbooking a decade ago when a friend held a party for a crafty company and I haven't looked back.  At the time we were living in a small country town & there were no scrapbooking stores close by so I consider myself to be self taught with no particular style.  Whilst I do like lumpy bumpy pages when both making cards & layouts I also like simple, clear cut lines as well.  I am hopelessly addicted to all things involving bling or glitz as well as flowers and I also have a small fascination with Magnolia stamps.  I love spending as much time as I can in my craft room creating and whilst my main loves are definitely card making & scrapbooking I have dabbled in ATC's and do enjoy making the occasional OTP as well.  I am tickled pink to be joining the wonderfully talented ladies at LCOM again for another term.
Make sure you visit the blog every Saturday, starting January 5th, as we reveal the first of many projects from this team!
Welcome ladies!!
Wishing you a Happy New Year!!!
